I contacted John Lewis about a green mist on yellow background that appears in the centre of the screen. John Lewis said they'll send out an Technician.

Timeline

The technician came to my home, took a few pictures, said the issue was screen burn and left within 10 mins. Before he left, I challenged him and asked about the large green mist, the technician said he doesn't know what it was and had never seen it before. He admitted that he was not able to confirm the cause and said whoever looks at the images will assess them and send a report to John Lewis.

John Lewis claim issue is screen burn - they agree to fix the issue if I can prove it's not the cause. John Lewis gets back to me and says it's screen burn.

John Lewis agree that if LG in writing state the issue was not caused by screen burn, they would repair the screen.

They estimate a cost of £1211.90 just to replace the panel.
